Our HEARTBEAT
To Be Reflectors of the
Image and Likeness of God
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness… God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” Genesis 1: 26 - 27
Inspired by the writings of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:15 “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God….” , and , his encouragement to believers in Colossians 3:10 “Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him”, our heartbeat is to become reflectors of the image and likeness of our Creator God, who is compassionate, merciful, slow to anger, forgiving and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. (Exodus 34: 6-7).
Our aspiration is to impact, change, and influence the world we live in by emulating the life of Jesus Christ – In humility to regard those in our lives more significant than ourselves by being compassionate, merciful, slow to anger, forgiving and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. This to us is what it means to be the visible image of the invisible God.
